Playing with google's "local search", I sought out monkeys near zip code 33301. I don't rightly know why Jiffy Lube came up on the list... Grease Monkeys, maybe?

When I did a local search for cannibals you know, just to be safe... I get The Local Bar Association( that figures), an Office supply center, and a bunch of Temp agencies! FOR THE LOVE OF ZEUS, POST IT NOTES ARE MADE OF PEOPLE!! PEOPLE!! /Heston in a scarf.

Cool Zombie Miniatures... I would love to have all of 'em! It would take forever to paint, but be worth it. It'd certainly make the Zombies!! beer and pretzels game a lot more varied and colorful. (The minis that come with the game are ok, but all identical. They need to vary the mix a wee bit. Mage Knight Zombies (ebay link, don't take those prices seriously, just a way to see varied piccies) I swear, if I wanted to make some cash, I'd put all the plastic monsters I don't have slotted to armies for sale, and see how much I could make.

My local "monkey" search yielded a whole page of quick-lube links...and one for a gym (the "Monkey Bar"). My "zombie" search mercifully had only one match...a nearby comic shop. And although the guys who work there are pretty scary and stare at me with cold, vacant eyes, they seem to perk up when you wave a little hentai under their noses. So I don't think they're undead (yet).

zombie got me a bunch of bars (love me that rum drink, and the Flordia historical society.... I guess that refers to the big zombie boatlift incident in 1970.

I didn't know that Bjork had recorded Gloomy Sunday (if it is in fact the same song Billie Holiday recorded and which caused such a scandal back in the day for being so depressing.) It certainly suits her style, though.

There's an interesting site I just found out about: Chilling Effects. I haven't fully examined it yet, but it is all about copyright and the Internet. So far, I haven't gotten any cease and desist orders about anything I've posted, but I wouldn't be surprised if one showed up eventually.

Chilling Effects looks to be quite informative! I know that I'd like to play it safe with the news I frequently quote wholesale.
