Mar. 1st, 2004 11:52 amIt seems the seller wants hang on to it for a while,so we'll need to move on.
The place just won't appraise out to the amount she's asking for.
Next place to check out will be Garden Terrace. Not sure if I'll offer on it or
not...Much roomier (a 2-bedroom), but may need more hard work.
No hard feelings on it either way... it would've been nice, but I'm only going to go fair market value.

Date: 2004-03-01 09:52 am (UTC)I figure that there are a gazillion homes on the market... I'll find one that I fit into easily enough. It'll become mine once I move in, but until then, it's just shopping.
I've found that most of the places I look at are a struck balance... roomy, but needs a lot of work (my current look), I really want a place with a washer and dryer, decent amounts of room, permits me to have Newt, and is a fairly close distance to a grocer and the bus routes.

Date: 2004-03-01 10:47 am (UTC)Fortunately, the patches of moonflower & sweetalyssum are still growing strong.. though the local outdoor kitties have gobbled up Newt's catgrass. (I'm going to have to find some way to shield it with a screen when I plant it next time.) or leave a little out for the visitors, and the rest under cover.
