I'm trying to get all my Livejournal friends' locations plotted on a map - please add your location starting with this form. Username: (Then get your friends to!)

Is it my imagination or is this map buggering up? Look at mine! There are people plotted in the middle of nowhere (top left of map in the water!). Or are they just being silly?

I tried but when I clicked to the map screen there was a note instead: "database is down" :-(

I used the zip code option, and it does seem to have placed me fairly near where I actually live, but I can't check the regional map because the data base is down.

waaaaaaaaaaa it told me the database was down too, so i figured i would try today, it says i already did it, but doesnt show my location!

Yes, just click "Set My Location" and follow the instructions from there. You will need to unlock your position by confirming, through Livejournal, that you really are the user you claim (to prevent people humorously relocating each other into the sea) - instructions to do this will appear during the process.
