Back from seeing the Hulk... It wasn't too bad, but could've been Edited a bit, and the paternal issues reworked. The Fights with the army were well done, Actors a little flat with a few exceptions. (I Never thought that I'd take General Ross's POV). the "super night fights" were a little too dark, and there were a lot of wacky scene changes. I'd give it a 5/10. it could've been edited and cleaned to a 7 I think.

Before the Hulk, Danny and I had a little lunch at Boston Market, and Chitty chatted about nothing in particular. I'm glad that he brought me a few boxes to pack goodies into.

Brother just called me up and said he needed to talk to me... and looking at my call waiting, he's been calling me hourly. He's supposed to be coming over so we can discuss whatever is bothering him. My hindbrain cynically suspects it's just a beg for money. My forebrain fearfully hopes that's the only problem he has. Meanwhile.. I get to sweat it out a bit and worry while I wait for his arrival.

Did you see that Pirates of the Caribbean - Curse of the Black Pearl is going to start soon? http://pirates.movies.go.com/

The commercial just came on a few minutes ago, so I thought of you. Johnny Dep is in it, & "usually" he does good stuff.

let's go see it! Hehe :0)

I saw the preview for Hulk at the theater when I saw Bruce Almighty. I'd been interested in seeing Hulk until I saw the preview. :(

Lou Ferigno (sp?) is coming here to Austin for a showing of some of the old Hulk series at one of our theaters. One of those neat theaters where they serve dinner and show both silly old movies and new stuff.

I did see the Hulk...and really like it. Really. Thought the cameo by Stan Lee and "Old Hulk" were great. But what's with the Hulk's hairdo?

Okay...I'm ready for the comicbook alliance attack....bring it on...

It's not good either...."Old Hulk's" hair was much scarier...you know the old carpet look. That dude scared the crap out of me.

Did you ever the see the episode where there really was an "old hulk"?

I vaguely recall an episode where there was aonther hulk forn a different acident.

I think the freaky-cro-magnon forehead id a lot to make Lou look scary.

yeah, I guess so..I thought it was natural though. But I was five when that stuff was popular. I used to hide in a corner during the 2.5 times he would turn into the Hulk. I love it though. I like that the CG Hulk made me jump in the theatre, but he didn't serve up any real terror in me. How bout you?

I think that the fight with the dogs was pretty frightening, but overall it was comic-book violence.. no blood, nothing to really hit my squeamishness.

see that's the problem...I haven't read the comic so I don't know what I was expecting. I did like the dogfight sequence though. Very well done...

I think what bothered me...I grew up near a military base...is that I've known too many people who resemble that Hulk.

me bad?
