Aug. 4th, 2002 12:51 pmI need to put up some wind chimes. There's a nice breeze in the courtyard.
They're making a hellboy movie? That's wacky... it'll be a major stinker, or a sweet, sweet piece of candy. I'm hoping for candy. I look forward to seeing how such stylized are will look as a "live action" sort of thing. Ron Perlman is a good pick for him... I wonder how Abe Sapien will turn out?
Skipping the Jazz brunch...too hot and crowded. I did swing by long enough to get a strawberry-lemonade punch and an arepa, though. The music that I did manage to hear was pleasant, though more like the islands than classic jazz.
Anna Nicole show is on tonight... not sure if I'll tune in or not. Sort of like a traffic accident... I shouldn't look, but I'm curious.

It scared me.

Date: 2002-08-04 11:03 am (UTC)Muahaha...I love that bunny pic! I hope that was a yawn, if not..then he's not going to come live with me. I miss having a rabbit, they do surprising, fun things that you wouldn't expect of them. They got along well with my cats of the time. [Newtie might like his own bunny]
Do they put anything on the arepa? Or is it just a round, corn cake?
I'm curious about the Anna Nicole show, but not sure if I'll watch. I don't know..I feel kind of sorry for her in a bizarre way. I shouldn't - she's doing well moneywise and jobwise compared to me. ;)
Re:
Date: 2002-08-04 11:07 am (UTC)Yawn is much cuter. I like his fuzzy-wuzzy coat!
The areapa sort of a grilled cheese sammich, made with two patties of a sweet cornbread sort of disk, with a layer of melted cheese in the middle... a pale cheese, like provolone.
I know what you mean... I feel sort of sorry for her too. In the "She's dumb, she can't help it" way. But she's not too dumb.... managed an interesting movie, modelling and etc career!

- I thought you were Vegan? Or are you just sort of Vegetarian-y? :0)
Re:
Date: 2002-08-04 11:28 am (UTC)I was vegan for about a year, but I fit more comfortably into the "just meatless" realm.
Aww! I look forward to seeing your piccies, when they return! Don't forget! (speaking of not forgetting, I got root beer at the grocery store today.)
check out this - http://www.simpleinternet.com/recipes/view.pl?2474 for possible ways to produce it. I like pan-fried with cheese. :)
