GeotargetWell, let's see.

Danny and I will be moving me into my new place tomorrow, after the office meeting. It's pretty much complete... I just have to seat the new toilet and sinks in the restroom.

Speaking of the toilet, I've been pondering putting in "Bull Shannon" level furniture... make everyone else who comes over feel a bit like a hobbit-sized critter. (The commode I picked up is about 18 in. high.) Maybe not make it out of concrete, but large, overstuffed chairs a person could get lost in might do the trick.

everyone knows the words. the kinks did it better, but this is cool, too.

If they can't afford to neuter their cat, they shouldn't have one.

I agree 100%.

It's too bad each city doesn't have the money/resources to make it so that you get ticketed if your pet isn't fixed, unless you pay for a yearly breeding license. Or that all vets must give free nueter/spays, and the city funds it. Wishful thinking.

I'd love to see subsidised birth control for 2-leggeds and 4-leggeds.

There are so many dingalings out there who can't care properly for critters... sometimes I wonder if it's me that's the one who is out of line, but If I have to be in error, I'd prefer to be wrong on the side of kindness.

Hmm. Didn't get this reply at all in Hotmail. Just happened to see it because I received a different reply from you, in this thread. Wonder what other emailed comments I'm missing?

"subsidised birth control"

Oh, wouldn't that be great?

I wonder sometimes if I'm the one who is off, too. I'm not anywhere close to being militant. I'm *not* asking people to be *obsessed or over the top*. I am just very confused as to why people don't understand that at the very least, mediocre treatement of animals, is more decent behavior for human beings than not caring enough to think about anything other than food & water.

I'm thinking of making a community where I can post pet articles. From cute stuff to new scientific findings when it comes to pets, etc. I have to think up a catchy, easy to remember name first.

I didn't get this reply back either, saw it when I did the other answer. :)

You don't seem looney to me. but maybe I'm a looney, too.

I'm using this page to check comments: http://www.livejournal.com/tools/recent_comments.bml

It's a good looney! However, I think we're doing what we're supposed to be doing. Right now many are still going by what they learned from their parents. I think the Internet has been instrumental in waking peeps up.

this reply *just* arrived in my mailbox!

I'd love a pet article community! I'd surely join!

"2-leggeds"

I thought..birdies? Then I realized you ment humans. Heh.

"I'd prefer to be wrong on the side of kindness."

I'm going to remember to say that. I'm glad you mentioned it. I'm pretty blown away when people often tell me they're not doing anything even basic for their pet. They literally think I'm a weirdo for thinking they should. Maybe a comment such as that, will make them think. Maybe. At the very least, I hope it will just make them hush. :0)

Heehee.. Birdies and monkeys and people and fruitbats!

I'd love to bop those poor animal-handlers on the nose with a rolled up newspaper.

If you're a weirdo, you're an awesome, caring, sweet one.
