Ramen is food for all mankind... cheap, tasty, and in sufficient quantities... psychadelic.

When I was in college, my dorm room was one of the first ramen recipe labs in the nation! hahaha! sour cream = good idea. polynesian sauce = bad idea. I've got a million of 'em!

Oh yeah... I think more college students expeimented with ramen than sex!

not to be naughty! You hear all aobut the experimentation at school with drugs and sex... the ramen never gets a mention!

Not so! I would talk often and fondly of my Ramen work!

my daughter had to fill out this little sheet for her preschool. one of the questions was "what is your favorite food?" she answered "top ramen". i was embarassed at first--this is a kid that has been exposed to all sorts of different foods. then i decided that top ramen is so darned good, of course it was her favorite food!

tastes just like an oriental!

[identity profile] zoe.livejournal.com 2001-05-22 04:46 pm (UTC)(link)
ok you got me....

I am a total ramen nut. I love ramen. I ate it when Iw as poor in LA and still like it.

I am partial to the spicy beef flavor myself, which really isn't all that spicy and doesn't really taste all that much like beef. I have a cook book that I got at the time which has 101 ways to cook ramen. It is my most favorite possesion. Well one of them I should qualify.

Welcome to the club! Maybe I should start a ramen noodles community. :)

Veggies or plain!

[identity profile] krussell.livejournal.com 2001-05-22 05:08 pm (UTC)(link)
spicy beef! yup, even my daughter likes that flavor. i try to stay away from the shrimp, myself. and it can't be cooked too long.
