Speaking as one that has worked for the advertisement department that worked on McDonald ads (my S. O. did the same job as I did once), they have had weirder experiments.

1) A McDonald's that you sit and eat at that is just like a Baker's Square.
2) McPB&J (McDonald's version of Peanut Butter & Jelly in a Happy Meal form).
3) That one time they tried to market bratwurst.
4) The Big Extra (which was a Whopper sized burger).
5) The Arch Deluxe (when they put steak seasonings in the burgers).

Yep. Chicago has been a guinea pig to McDonald's for a while now. This isn't anything new for us. :P
