A case of the mondays.

This weekend was a mixed bag.

Had a nice time with BHK, though I was in a fairly glum mood throughout the span of days off.

Let's review -

Friday - Arrived at work, got sick, went home earlier than my pre-scheduled time off for the trip to the doc.

Had a rough time overall on Friday - though we did go to East Cafe and had a tasty Sesame Tofu.

Saturday - Mostly spent doing chores, but we did get to putter off to Lunch with the in-laws - got Bruster's ice cream after,  and we were all so full, planned dinner got passed over to Sunday.

Sunday, we did grocery shopping, and I stuc my nose in *another* dying blockbuster video store  in SOMD - nothing worth picking up, but I did use my birthday best buy gift cert to get $10 of PSn points, and Fallout 3!

The grocery event was cute, too - Wore my superhero shirt while grocery shopping... a little kid pointed at me and said "He's got the Green Lantern, Like Sheldon!"

Family supper on sunday was extra nice - Mother in law made baked potatoes, BHK did salad, Larry did pork chops on the grill, and I cooked curry chicken on the other half of the grill.

Went to work today, and found out that my health debit account has been closed - I called the bank and they advised me that there is a compliance issue with his account. This is related to the Patriot Act, which could be affected by an incorrect address or social or even a name spelling.

Apparently, the nearly $1000 in that debit account is being extra troublesome to access - both by way of check or debit card provided. I've got inquiries in to HR to see what I can do - the last thing I want is to have credit issues due to an insurance / bank issue. Fortunately, HR is pretty tenacious...  I hope to have a solution when I come in to work tomorrow.

I had a lot of blue times over the weekend - not sure of the cause, maybe fatigue, maybe just brain chemistry. So far today, my mood has been better - too busy working to really focus on any doom & gloom. I'm looking forward to getting more springtime walkies now that weather is a bit more hospitable.
