I have throughly enjoyed Lost. I think that season 2 floundered somewhat because the tone of the show changed without warning. The Hatch being a perfect example. In season 1 Locke makes a big thing about the island being "alive" and that it's secrets would be found in the hatch, but it just turns out to be a guy in a covered bunker. As it has gone a long It has gone from strength to strength IMO.

I can see what you mean about the hype though. JJ Abrhams is really pushing it everywhere he goes it seems.
