The trees are about 3-4 storys high and sandwiched between the house (actually a hanging over the house) and the power line with only about 2 feet on each side. Even the tree guys wince when the see this task. The one big bad maple tree breaks into 3 main branches towards the top and one of those branches is right above the whole length of our little house. If it were to drop it'd do major damage. We talked about all the options but we just can't chance it---otherwise Scott and my dad would probably be out there chipping wood by now :D
