I'm looking at the cam now, and Newt's curled up on the futon. I'm trying to figure the cam out. His head is up, looking around..though his body is curled. Would the cam not capture the motion of him putting his head down (after the initial photo), as well as any other movement while laying there? Maybe I'm taking your explanation on the cam page too literally?? I'm prone to doing that very thing. :P

I put in a 30 second delay between movement dtetchions, so it's not like a film :)

He must move around a lot *outside* of the cam viewing area then? Each time I visited, the photos were pretty much the same.

yup.. sometimes he'll move in and out so fast that you'll just see an orange blur. :)
