The bed is pretty new... it *is* weird that 6 inches taller makes it seem like you've been launched into space. I'm glad you've acclimated. I get a little paranoid about Newt getting under the bed - I fear the bed will break and maybe hurt him, so he's forbidden from going there. A silly anxiety, but I've had cheap bedframes break before. (from plopping down on one corner too hard.)

I'm looking forward to being in my own place, and I know Newt's going to have fun with the new terrain!
