Well we had water--at least my neighborhood did---we just didn't have the ability to get rid of the sewage that accumulated---I suppose that's why we didn't mind being around each other as much---the whole neighborhood stank!
Pyewacket on the other hand was just a kitten at the time--he had not been found yet---he rode out Isabel from the woods where his former own decided to dump him and his litter mates (and from his fondness and adeptness of hunting and eating bugs that's what I think he ate to survive). The week after I came back home was the week my neighbors found him and I adopted him! Everytime I think about that poor little black uzz ball outsid ei Isabel it makes my heart hurt.
